St. Petersburg hotel scene has changed dramatically during recent years with restoration and re-opening of high class hotels like Grand Hotel Europe, Astoria and Angleterre, Kempinski and Radisson, Corinthia and Marriotts. Finnish Sokos hotel group opened 3 large hotels in 2008. Four Seasons and Hilton are considering to open in a few years.

Soviet-era tourist hotels Pribaltiyskaya and Pulkovskaya re-branded as Park Inn and new 4-star Holiday Inn hotel are the largest city hotels with multi-functional congress and conference facilities.

Centrally located 3-star hotels like Ibis, Dostoyevsky, Moskva and some other are a good option for budget-conscious individuals, businessmen and groups.
There is also a great number of centrally located mini-hotels of different standards ranging from modest B&B to cozy boutique hotels.
